In fact, within the next five years, most military technology experts are predicting radio frequency will be used even more extensively in robotic military equipment, which will be helpful in letting a military unit use fewer troops in the battlefield. Instead, robotic artillery, lasers, and other types of weapons will be controlled by soldiers located in monitoring centers miles away from the actual fighting and will look much like many of today’s state-of-the-art video games, with soldiers using joysticks to control movements and aiming of weaponry.
